Dell'Ugo Fresh Chickpea Fusilli Pasta

This really is a find! A totally grain-free fresh pasta which not only looks great but tastes great!!
Dell'Ugo's gluten-free pasta is made from chickpeas, egg and water... It looks fab (as you can see), holds together brilliantly and cooks easily.
It has, unsurprisingly, a slightly beany texture which comes as a bit of a surprise but is, in fact, delicious – as is the flavour. We ate ours in a summery style, just adding fresh basil, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper, but the people from Dell'Ugo recommend a rich tomato or Bolognese sauce, and for those who find the slightly beany texture a little disconcerting, this might be the better way to serve it.
