Ohso probiotic chocolate
Ohso certainly have come up with a clever idea! Chocolate that delivers probiotics straight down into your tum – and we all know how good it is to boost the beneficial bacteria in our guts! Just check in with some of the research here on the FoodsMatter site.... Although some questions are now being asked as to whether just bombarding our gut with gazillions of beneficial bacteria is really the answer and maybe, as with supplements, we should be a little more selective about the probiotics we ingest and target them slightly more accurately to our needs. However, for now, Ohso reckon that they are delivering a billion of the good guys via their bars of chocolate and who are we to argue with that?....
The Ohso chocolate, which comes in a handy seven-bar pack, is only 53% cocoa solids so will not go down too well with choco-freaks but it is perfectly pleasant. It is dairy free, but is made in a facility that also uses milk and nuts, and it does contain soya. Ohso also make an orange flavour version which we didn't try.
